Robo World Part 7 : Energy, Space and Time.

Moving across the new virtual world was not without great difficulty for those creations that had once relied upon levitation to float above the z levels in each landscape and occassionally build up sufficient energy using their boltzman machines to leave one world for another.

Yet these constraints having only been gravity and affordance's in the landscapes optima's minimas to its fitness function, a new problem had been introduced by the God Mach simulator. Time and space now could only be negotiated with energy. More precisely the right kind of energy.

Ordinary self propelling energy wouldnt suffice to reach an optimal gravity well within increasingly more complex and multidimensional worlds the agents would have to literally bend time and space to acheive their goals no matter how benale. Survival may also mean copying anothers abilitys trading between agents might result in one agent taking more than the agreed amount of dna.

The God mach provided a vacume plate and ofcourse a cloud chamber sensor array to each agent who task was now to gather and synthesise enough energy and control it using electromagnets in accordance with maxwells equations and generate sufficient warping of space time to allow the agent to pass through his or her dna and reassemble themselves on the other side.

Having done so all agents could gather together at the optimal position within the landscape and cellebrate by a sharing of dna, an orgy of sorts controlled by an restricted boltzman crosover operator enabling God Mach to breed, which would then lead to spurios offspring repleat with their own energy controlling abilitys inherited from their parents and off they would go to unforseen stretches of the lanscape(s) undreamt of yet by the God Mach's Boltzman Generator whos connections bristled with the many Ant colonys that ran throughout its quadrillion connections.
